Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
DriveBridge is a macOS app made by IMAZYN ECOMMERCE PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us"). It lets you use your Google Drive storage as a drive on your Mac. This policy explains what data the app touches and why.
The short version
- Your files travel directly between your Mac and Google. They never pass through our servers.
- DriveBridge can access only the files it creates in its own DriveBridge folder in your Google Drive.
- Our server knows your Google email address and basic facts about each Mac you use DriveBridge on, so we can manage your trial, license and support. We never see your files or file names.
- No ads after you buy. During the free trial we may show an occasional sponsored message; we count how often it's seen and clicked, never your files.
- No third-party analytics, and we never sell data.
Google account data
When you connect your Google account, DriveBridge requests these permissions:
- See, edit, create and delete only the specific Google Drive files you use with this app (
drive.file). DriveBridge uses this to create a DriveBridge folder in your Drive and to store, read, rename and delete the files you put in the drive. It cannot see any other files in your Google Drive. - Your email address (
email, openid). Shown in the app so you know which account is connected, and sent to our server to tie your trial and license to your account.
Google sign-in tokens that give access to your Drive are stored only on your Mac, in a file readable only by your user account, and are never sent to us. To register your Mac, the app sends us a short-lived Google identity token, which proves your email address and does not give access to your Drive. You can disconnect at any time in DriveBridge Settings › Account, or remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
DriveBridge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to anyone.
What our server stores
DriveBridge's licensing server (drivebridge-admin.imazyn.com) stores:
- Your Google email address and Google account ID, when you sign up
- For each Mac: a random install ID, the DriveBridge version, macOS version, processor type, and the dates it was first and last active
- Your trial, license or free-access status, and any notes our support team adds
During the free trial, the app may also report when a sponsored message was shown or clicked. That report contains only the message's ID.
The app checks in when it starts and every few hours. We use this to run your trial and license, count installs and active users, show in-app announcements, and help with support. It never includes file names, file contents or your Drive activity.
Files on your Mac
To keep the drive fast, DriveBridge keeps recently used files in a cache on your Mac, up to the size you choose in Settings. Files you save are stored there briefly until they finish uploading to Google Drive. The cache stays on your Mac and is removed when you disconnect or uninstall.
Licensing and payments
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, under their privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can send your license and provide support. To activate a license, the app sends your license key and a name for your Mac to Lemon Squeezy's license service.
Support emails
If you email us, we use your message and any log file you attach only to help you. Logs record what the drive engine did (for example connection errors); they do not contain file contents.
Updates
The app checks this website for new versions. That request includes the app version and macOS version.
Data retention and deletion
We keep account and install records while you use DriveBridge, and order records as required by law. Ask us to delete your account and install records, or anything else we hold about you, at support@imazyn.com. Your files are in your own Google Drive and stay under your control.
Children
DriveBridge is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, mention it in the app's release notes.
